Gosh, it's been a while since i posted anything, naughty i know but i think the novelty sort of wore off for a while. Anyway, i'm back to bore some more!!!!
I guess i've sort of had a bit of an interesting time lately, my soon to be had to have a rather sort of life saving operation, which was a bit of a shock to say the least but had to be done so that was that, bloody frightening time i'll tell you! All well now and back to the normality of everyday life, or the life of a wedding planner. Almost all sorted now, just deciding whether we can afford a band versus DJ for the night (can't really afford any of them, it's such an exspensive business).
The only really big thing to sort out now is ...well...me!. I finally got my fat ass out of bed and hired a personal trainer. He is evil and nasty and left me in such a state last week that i was being woken during the nite by the pain in my thighs, guess those muscles haven't been used for a while! He does seem to be working tho and i feel better for it, only 2 stone to go but if anyone has a magic wand, please let me know !!!!!

Weddings and snowy weather.

Well, what a busy few weeks i've had. It was my friends wedding last weekend and so lots of preparations were needed prior to it! First was the hens party, a day at the wineries in the yarra valley which as you can guess included lots of wine drinking, well its only polite isn't it!!! Then on for dinner at a little Italian place where we terrorized the rest of the diners by making Hannah, the hen, do lots of tasks involving kissing strange men and wearing underpants on her head (don't ask!)!!. Then we went off to a gay nightclub for lots of dancing and of course, more alcohol!!!! A very good time was had by all.
Last weekend we had their wedding which was just beautiful, the weather held out, thankfully, and the day went just as planned.
As for my wedding, well, we have booked a celebrant and have opted to get married on the beach, lets hope the sun shines and it's warm enough for a paddle while we're sipping champagne!
Just all the other stuff to sort out now, and the money to pay for it all!!!!

Now whats going on with the weather over here???? We have actually had some snow today in the suburbs of Melbourne, and i'm talking like enough to make snowmen! It's been the coldest August day in history and they've never had snow this far near the coast before. There's something dodgy going on in the world, too much global warming or something.
I'll try and post a couple of photo's and catch up with you again soon.

to be a member of my blog and it has now decided that our blogs should be joind together forever! Not sure how that has happened but now he has a blog that is mine and neither of us can change the settings or delete it?!
I guess that just goes to show that you should'nt mess around with things you don't really understand!!!!

Going on to other matters of the day, i was shocked to hear that some bombs have been set off in London. I immediately sent texts to my friends in London to make sure they were all safe, which thankfully they were, then spent the night watching the news.
What do these evil B******S think they are gaining from killing innocent people. Surely the world is big enough for us all to live in???

I think i should stop there, might get out of hand. Will go back to the news and see you later.

Life as the bloggerblobber began not so long ago while staying with "my boys" in London on a rather busy visit home from down under. What was this new and curious world of blogging i asked blitheringblogs? http://blitheringblogs It sounded just like the excuse i needed to put off all the things that i should be doing and hence on my return to Oz the creation began.
Now i'm not quite sure in what direction it will head but i guess i'll just write and see where my thoughts lead. Apologies for it being very boring but i'm anticipating that i'll get better as i go long.
I guess i'm whats known in this antipodean part of the woods as a whinging pomme but i would beg to differ, the only thing i really whinge about is work and as it happens i scored myself a nice little job just before i went home. I do have intentions of becoming very rich and not having to work for a living but so far this seems to be a little slow in coming around. My other option is for my other half (never really understood that term. Half of what ? I always thought i was a whole person!) anyway i digress, yes, i thought he might be a millionaire but again it was not to be. So i suppose it's up to the luck of the lottery ticket on a saturday night (best start buying them then)!!
Well, i'm thinking that my blogger could be used as a sort of way of letting off some steam and calming my nerves as i have been invited to walk down the ailse next March by my man (aka other half) and am thinking that it could end up being a rather stressful time between now and then. Not only do we have to organize it all but there is a little issue i have about weight! I have enlisted the help of a mind programming CD to stop me from eating all that lovely scrummy food and even possibly cut down on the old vino, the only trouble is.........i really like it and lets face it, with all the stress i'm perceiving to encounter then i'll be hitting that old vino on more than my fair share of occassions oops!
No, seriously, i can do it!!!! Ok i'm off to start reprogramming my mind and stop boring everyone, but promise to return and continue with the next exciting installment (exciting...NOT)
